Dave Wilbur

Dave has been playing guitar since 1982, playing bass since 1981, singing since 1967, and breathing since 1966. Yet it wasn't until 1991 that he officially referred to himself as a professional musician. He has played and/or recorded for dozens of local and national acts (too many to mention) from coast to coast in the U.S. and abroad.

Amongst other things, Dave is Director of the Modern School of Music, which has campuses in various cities across Utah. As director of the school, he supervises the faculty and staff of the school as well as develops and guides the instruction and curriculum of more than 400 students per week statewide. He has authored the Modern School Method books for the Bass, for the Guitar as well as for "modern style" Keyboards. He has taught privately since 1991, having had enormous success as an instructor. In spite of his busy schedule, he still manages to teach 40-50 private students each week on guitar, bass and keys.

Dave has been doing professional recording sessions as a bassist and as a singer since the early 90's, appearing on various albums in a variety of musical styles, some of which have received national airplay on TV and radio. A "man of a million stupid voices", his professional voice-over work includes recording for various best-selling video games for Sony Playstation, PS2, Nintendo and N64, instructional CD-ROMs and nationally aired radio spots.
