Dan has loved and been involved with music since the day he was born. He and his siblings have always been in demand for their singing - either for solos, duets or quartets throughout his life. His mother loved the way he would work out harmonies to any song he heard. He always seemed to have a knack for how a song should sound. So he was encouraged to persue this talent through continuing education and experience.

Dan graduated from Brigham Young University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with an emphasis in Sound Recording Production. While attending BYU he toured all over the United States with the Young Ambassadors as the Head Sound Engineer for a year and a half. The big tour took them to 27 cities in 14 states in a 5 week time period. This truly gave Dan a taste of what it was like to provide the sound needs for a group in a variety of arenas.

After graduation, Dan kept up with his music by being an engineer for a variety of bands. Before joining Party Train, Dan was the sound engineer for the "Raving Daves" for the past 5 years in Northern California. The "Daves" had the opportunity to open for some big named bands such as "KC and the Sunshine Band", "The B-52's", "Los Lobos", "Earth, Wind, and Fire", "The Wallflowers" and for the comedian, Sinbad.

Besides good music, Dan likes candlelit dinners and moonlit walks on the beach.
