Brent Arnold

Brent is a skilled trombonist and band arranger, and has been teaching private lessons on trombone, baritone, tuba and euphonium for last four years. A native of Utah, Brent graduated from Springville High in 1994. He graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in Trombone Performance and Pedagogy. He has performed in BYU Philharmonic Orchestra, BYU Trombone Choir and other brass chamber groups. Additionally, he performed in BYU's salsa combo, various other jazz combos and the Utah Valley Symphony.

Brent has traveled the world with Synthesis, BYU's premier jazz band. Destinations have included Italy, France, England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the greater Monticello region of Utah. Brent loves playing the trombone. He says, "I want to be a famous trombone player, like that trumpet player guy you see on TV."

He is actively involved in the recording scene in the greater Provo area. Besides playing trombone in Party Train, Brent is actively performing with his jazz singer, and wife, Kristie Arnold. Brent and his wife enjoy going to the movies, eating out, and playing with their two-year old son, Sam. Brent owns his own music arranging/publishing business, Arnold Music.
